NSKAD Needs Your Help!
The budget cuts in both the cultural sector and higher education have led to a precarious situation for NSKAD. As a result, the choir has had to take serious measures last year. For example, the summer concert for 2025 was brought forward, and both the repertoire and the number of rehearsals were reduced due to insufficient funds to continue rehearsing until summer. This means that choir members had to miss out on several weeks of rehearsals with our conductor and accompanist.
Beyond the impact on the choir’s musical capabilities and development, this also affects the social side of being in the choir. Weekly rehearsals quickly create a sense of community, and for many members, Tuesday evenings are an important social anchor point in their week.

Become a Donor
To ensure regular rehearsals for our members in the future and allow us to plan ahead, structural contributions are very important to the choir. Donors are therefore essential to us. As a donor, you’ll be kept up to date on our concerts and the ins and outs of the choir via a digital newsletter. You can choose your own annual donation amount, but starting from €75,- per year, you will receive two complimentary tickets to our concerts. Do you want to become a donor? Other Ways to Support
Besides financial support, there are other ways to help the choir. To earn extra income through additional concerts, we are often looking for rehearsal spaces. If you have or know of a location we could occasionally use, we would love to hear from you! We’re also always open toconce rt opportunities that could help us raise funds.
