Are you a student with a desire to sing?

Join Nijmeegs Studentenkoor Alphons Diepenbrock! The choir consists of about 40 members and is oriented towards classical music. We give at least two concerts each year. We rehearse every Tuesday evening in a relaxed atmosphere in Wijkcentrum Villa Nova, Derde van Hezewijkstraat 2 (near central station). After rehearsal we always go to ‘De Kluizenaar’ for drinks.

Singing is not the only thing we do at the NSKAD. Besides musicality, group bonding is paramount. We have several committees organising a variety of activities, ranging from the by now traditional intro-bowling, to barbecues, a music night, 'diner rouler', games night, beer tastings and an autumn walk in the forest. Furthermore, we organise a 'choir weekend' each year, as well as an exchange with a foreign orchestra about once every two years. In the summer of 2019, for instance, we went to Nancy in France, where we performed Mozart's Requiem with the Orchestre Symphonique Universitaire de Lorraine.

Have we caught your interest and do you want to see if the choir is something for you? Feel free to have a look during one of our Tuesday-night rehearsals. Also check out our Facebook page.
